2-day long Diwali festival organised at Pilak Parking Zone

Shantirbazar, Oct 30: Live every year, this year too a 2-day long Diwali festival is organised at Maheshwari kali Temple in Jolaibari Pilak Parking Zone.

The puja committee is organizing 15^th Diwali festival this year. MLA of Jolaibari Assembly Constituency and minister Sukla Charan Noatia will inaugurate the fair on Thursday.

Speaking to the reporters, the president of the puja committee Tamal Baidya said that this year the Committee will not collect subscription or fees from the shopkeepers following the Diwali festival.

Moreover, the shopkeepers will be provided with free electricity services from the end of the puja committee, he said, adding that various social activities are also mounted for the festival.
