Agartala, Oct 29: Two women cricketers from Tripura have been selected in the Eastern squad for the Senior Women's Inter-Zonal T20 Cricket Tournament to be held in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh from November 8 to 16.

Tripura's wicket-keeper Jhumki Debnath and off-spinner Pooja Das have been selected for the Eastern team, said secretary of Tripura Cricket Association Tapas Ghosh.

In a press note, he also mentioned, the captain of the state team- Annapurna Das has been kept as standby. The release said, a meeting was held in Ranchi on Saturday to form the eastern team.
