Agartala May 17: Embarking the journey of 25 long years of service in the health sector along with social service of various kind, Teresa Diagnostic Centre, a renowned healthcare facility on Wednesday organized a blood donation camp to celebrate the occasion.
Minister for Power, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Ratan Lal Nath remained present as the chief guest at the camp.
Addressing the occasion, Ratan Lal Nath Nath lauded the 25 long years of service provided by the diagnostic centre.
He said, “Elections are over. Now its time to collectively add towards making Ek Tripura Srestha Tripura keeping aside political differences”.
“The state government is committed towards overall development of all section of people across the state. Irrespective of any political party people support, the facilities under various state and central government schemes are directly reaching everyone”, he said.
Talking about the plans of Teresa Diagnostic Centre of expanding its services by transforming into a a multi-speciality hospital in the near days, the minister said, “This initiative will boost employment opportunities and also add towards further better service in the health sector”.
Speaking on the occasion Dr Achintya Bhattacharjee, owner, Teresa Diagnostic Centre detailed the 25-year long journey of the organization that started with merely 3 rooms.
He also discussed about the future plans of the organization.
Dr. Bhattacharjee said, "We have acquired a plot of land near IGM Hospital, where we will commence the construction of a state-of-the-art multi-speciality hospital in the near future." This expansion aims to further enhance the quality and scope of medical care available to the local community.
“In addition to the hospital expansion, an advanced ambulance equipped with a built-in ventilator will also be launched. This will be the first ambulance with a ventilator in Tripura, providing crucial life-saving support during medical emergencies”, he added.
Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder also remained present at the blood donation camp.
