4 Unnatural death reported in North, Unakoti

Chiraibari/Kumarghat/ Kailashahar, Aug 7: At least four incidents of unnatural deaths were reported in the North and Unakoti districts during the last 24 hours.
Sources said that body of a middle-aged man was recovered from a pond from his own house at Kherenjuri area of Laxminagar Gram Panchayat in the morning on Sunday. The name of the deceased is Sanjoy Nath(42). He was a dweller of ward no- 4 of Kherengjuri. Police registered a case of unnatural death and started an investigation.
In separate incident police from Kumarghat Police Station recovered the body of a youth from a pond in the Uttar Pabiacherra area in the morning on Sunday. Later police identified the body. The name of the deceased is Dulal Sarkar (28) who was a resident of ward no -7. Police sent the body to Morgue for post-mortem and started an investigation after filing a case of unnatural death.
In another incident, a body of 23 years old recently married woman was recovered from her husband’s house on Sunday. Immediately the family members informed her father’s house and shifted the body to Kadamtala Community Hospital. However, the doctor declared her ‘brought dead’.
The Brother of the deceased woman, Runa Begam said that they received a call from her husband’s house that Runa became senseless and rushed to her house and Kadamtala CHC. On being informed police from Kadamtala Police Station went to the spot and started an investigation. Local sources said, it remains unknown whether it was a murder or something else.
In yet another incident, body of a woman was recovered from a pond known as Baurir Barir Pukur at ward no-7 of Samarurpar Panchayat near Murticherra Tea Garden of Kailashahar on Sunday. Notably, the body of another woman was found at Chantail village of Kailashahar 72 hours ago. Today, people found the body floating on a pond when they went to take bath. On being informed a large contingent of police and TSR led by Deputy Magistrate Mangal Debbarma and OC of Kailashahar Women Police Station Pratibha Sinha rushed to the spot. Later, Kamal Ghatoal identified the body and said that it was the body of his mother Kalyani Ghatoal.
