70-year-old man found dead in well

Dharmanagar, May 13: A 70-year-old man identified as Nirjan Nath was found dead in a well near his home in Dharmanagar on Monday morning.

According to reports, Nath's family had been searching for him after he went missing earlier in the day. Neighbors joined the search, and eventually, Nath's body was discovered in a well near his house.

The Dharmanagar Fire Department personnel retrieved the body from the well and transported it to the North District Hospital for postmortem. The police are investigating the cause of Nath's death.

Nath's son stated that his father had not been involved in any work for the past five to six years. The police are investigating the incident to determine whether Nath's death was accidental or a result of foul play.
