In a bid to strengthen civic amenities and improve the quality of life for residents, Agartala Mayor Dipak Majumdar on Thursday visited Road No. 8 under the Ramnagar Assembly Constituency. The inspection focused on key urban concerns including road conditions, drainage systems, and drinking water supply.
Â
During the visit, the Mayor interacted directly with local residents to understand their grievances and assured them that the Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) is committed to addressing these issues. “Making the lives of Agartala’s citizens easier and more comfortable is the core objective of the Municipal Corporation,” Majumdar said, emphasizing that the administration is working to deliver improved services across the city.
Â
The inspection was attended by Ward No. 14 corporator Snigdha Das Deb, Mandal president Amitabha Bhattacharjee, and several community leaders, reflecting a collective effort to strengthen civic governance.
Â
Residents welcomed the Mayor’s initiative, noting that such on-ground visits help bridge the gap between citizens and the administration.Â
