Best Schools, Colleges nominated in Tripura for Teachers' Day awards

 The Tripura government has announced the names of ‘Best Schools/ Colleges’ in various categories for felicitation on the occasion of Teachers’ Day.

The ‘Best Schools’ have been nominated for awarding their significant contribution towards progress of the students and also overall development of schools.

Dudhpur High School in Unakoti district has been adjudged as Best School for attendance, Kathalia Girls HS School in Sepahijala district has been nominated as Best School in Results in final examination conducted by Board (TBSE) and Rajnagar Colony HS School in South Tripura has been declared the Best School in results of examination conducted by Board (CBSE).

The Best School in Games & Sports Award went to PM SHRI Nabagram HS School in West Tripura and Best School in Cultural & Co-curricular Activities Awards have been given to Golden Valley HS School in North Tripura and Teliamura HS School in Khowai district.

The Best School in implementation of PM POSHAN is West Daluchara High School in Dhalai, PM SHRI Jnanoday English Medium School in South Tripura, PM SHRI Radha Kishore Institution in Unakoti and Sukanta Academy English Medium HS School in West Tripura.

The Best School in Information Technology Award presented to Kirit Bikram Institution in Gomati district, PM SHRI Sabroom Girls HS School in South Tripura, Mungiabari HS School in Khowai and Kshudiram Basu English Medium School in West Tripura district.

Ratan Roaja Para High School in Dhalai district and West Bokafa HS School in South Tripura have been adjudged as Best School in Swachhata while the Best School for Overall Performance Award has been given to Bhagat Singh English Medium HS School in West Tripura.

The Best Govt. Degree College Award has been given to Netaji Subhas Mahavidyalaya in Gomati district and the Best Polytechnic Institution Award went to TTAADC Polytechnic Institution in West Tripura.

Moreover, five more schools have also been nominated for Best Green Initiatives: The schools are- Mendi Hour High School (Dhalai), Bir Bikram Institution (North), Rabi Gopal Para High School (Sepahijala), Sarashima HS School (South) and Tripura Lokshikshaloya High School (West Tripura).

The Principals/ HMs of respective schools/ colleges will receive the awards during the state level Programme on 5 September, 2025.
