Biplab meets Nadda, seeks support for treatment of Manashree

Former Tripura chief minister and West Tripura MP Biplab Kumar Deb on Friday met Union Health Minister J P Nadda and sought the Centre's support for the advanced treatment of a Manashree who is suffering from a rare medical condition called SMA.

In a social media post, Deb said he apprised the Union minister about the medical condition of Manashree and discussed the need for her advanced treatment.

According to Deb, Nadda heard the matter "with utmost sincerity" and held detailed discussions on various aspects of the girl's further treatment while considering possible assistance from the Union Health Ministry.

Deb thanked the Union minister for his response and expressed hope that the required support would be extended for the girl's treatment.
