An important organizational meeting between BJP leaders and Members of District Council (MDCs) was held at the State Guest House on Wednesday.

BJP national general secretary (org) B.L. Santosh, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, state observer Vinod Sonkar and party’s general secretary (org) for Tripura and Assam units- Phanindranath Sharma were present.

The organizational matters as well as development activities in Janajati areas were discussed in the meeting, according to party sources.

Meanwhile, the BJP national general secretary (org) is scheduled to hold another round of important meeting with the state party leaders at BJP headquarters, Agartala.

Santosh, who arrived in the state on Tuesday, already held meetings with the state officer bearers, ministers, MLAs, District and Morcha presidents.

The visiting BJP national general secretary, state observer and party’s general secretary (org) for Tripura and Assam units visited the residence of AMC councilor- Jaya Dhanuk.
