BJP set to win TTAADC polls, says disrtict president

A district president of Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday commented that the saffron camp is set to win the upcoming polls to Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC). He, however, didn't clarify if the BJP would maintain the alliance with Tipra Motha or contest the polls alone. 

BJP Dhalai district president Patiram Tripura said the people of all sections, particularly the voters of opposition camp, are now joining the saffron brigade following development initiatives of the central and the state governments.

He was addressing a joining programme at the Raishyabari party office, where a group of voters from IPFT along with vice-president of Raishyabari local committee Hajendra Tripura joined the BJP.

They were welcomed by the BJP’s Dhalai district president, Raimavalley mandal president DHanya Manik Tripura and other local leaders.

The district president said, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the entire country including Tripura is witnessing unprecedented development.

He also highlighted the development works of Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha in every field including healthcare, education, power, drinking water and communication.

He also appealed to all to work unitedly for ensuring the BJP’s victory in the upcoming polls.
