Teliamura Aug 02: A Voluntary Blood Donation Camp was organized on Tuesday by Progressive Youth Club, one of the oldest clubs in Teliamura.

The inauguration of the new building of the Progressive Youth Club is going to be held on August 4 holding the hands of Minister of State Information Culture Department Sushanta Chowdhury.

Keeping this day in front, the club has undertaken various social programs for five days. Already mega health camp, tree plantation program has been completed by the club authorities.

As part of this programme, a voluntary blood donation camp was organized on Tuesday.

Kalyani Roy, Chief Whip of legislative assembly inaugurated the blood donation camp. Teliamura Municipal Council Chairman Rupak Sarkar, Vice Chairman Madhusudan Roy and other guests also remained present.

 According to club sources, around 40 blood donors voluntarily donated blood in this camp.
