Blooming Club made a commanding start to their Senior Club League campaign, defeating Skylark Club by seven wickets in a one-sided contest at the Airport Ground on Thursday.
The victory was powered by a dominant bowling display from Biraj Debbarma and Prahar Debbarma, who claimed four wickets each to dismantle the opposition.

The rest of the batting line-up faltered, with no other player reaching double figures. The team managed 14 runs in extras.
Biraj Debbarma returned impressive figures of four for 14, while Prahar Debbarma picked up four for 32 to lead the bowling attack.
Chasing a small target, Blooming Club completed the task with ease in just 12.2 overs, losing three wickets. Suman Debbarma struck a quick 40 off 28 balls, while Rajesh Debbarma supported well with 29 off 26 deliveries.
For Skylark Club, Pralay Debnath was the only notable bowler, taking two wickets for 25 runs.
