BSF Tripura Frontier holds Pension Adalat, Reaffirms commitment to retired personnel

The Border Security Force (BSF) Frontier Headquarters Tripura today hosted a Pension Adalat at Salbagan, Agartala, as part of the 74th Nationwide Pension Adalat initiative of the Government of India. 

The programme, chaired by Inspector General Princee Rani, IPS, was dedicated exclusively to BSF pensioners and family pensioners residing in Tripura and Mizoram.

The Adalat provided a formal platform for retired personnel and their families to raise concerns related to pensions. A total of 152 pensioners and family pensioners participated, reflecting the scale of engagement and the importance of the initiative.

Officials confirmed that several grievances were resolved immediately during the session, while remaining cases were taken up for expeditious disposal. The emphasis was on transparency, promptness, and ensuring that retired members of the force feel supported even after their years of service.

The event was seen as a reaffirmation of BSF’s commitment to the welfare of its retired personnel. By addressing pension‑related issues directly and efficiently, the organisation sought to strengthen trust and demonstrate that the bond between the force and its members continues beyond active duty.

Notably, the Pension Adalat is part of a nationwide effort to streamline grievance redressal for pensioners across government services. For BSF, which has a large retired community in the Northeast, the initiative underscores its role not only as a security force but also as a guardian of welfare for those who once stood at the nation’s borders.
