Agartala March 12: An important meeting of the Business Advisory Committee commenced on Wednesday, marking a crucial step in the preparation for the upcoming budget session of the Tripura Legislative Assembly.
The agenda of the meeting focused on planning and coordination to ensure a seamless and productive session for all members involved.

Minister Ratan Lal Nath while addressing  the reporters announced that the budget session is scheduled to begin on March 21 and will continue until May 1.
“This extended session aims to deliberate on key legislative matters, including the presentation and approval of the annual budget. It is expected to address various pressing issues and policy decisions that will significantly impact the governance and development trajectory of the region”, he said.
Notably, the Business Advisory Committee plays a pivotal role in structuring the legislative proceedings, including scheduling debates and discussions to optimize the session's efficiency.
With its commencement on Wednesday the committee sets the stage for a rigorous and engaging budget session ahead.
