BURN CALORIES NOT FUEL: Two youths walk from Chhattisgarh to Tripura to raise awareness

Two youths from Chhattisgarh, who embarked on a Padayatra to spread the message ‘BURN CALORIES NOT FUEL’, have reached Tripura.
The two young men- Saurabh Debangan and Anikesh Sharma started the Padayatra around 10 months ago for traveling across India with the tricolor.
They cover maximum of 30 kilometers a day. After around 10 months of walk, they finally arrived in the small hilly state of Tripura one week ago. They took rest at Teliamura police station in Khowai district for a while early on Wednesday morning.
Speaking to the media, they said that the Padyatra was launched from Chhattisgarh on October 7 last year.
“In the past 10 months of journey, we already covered Odisha, West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. We have set a target to travel across the whole country to spread the message,” the duo told the media.
They are on this mission to spread a message to the countrymen specially to the young generation that walking not only helps maintaining good health and mind but also ensures less consumption of fuel and keeps the environment safe from pollution.
