Agartala, April 10: The Central Association of Private Security Industry (CAPSI), Monday organised a day long "North East Security Education & Global Employability Conclave" to attract and empower youths in the country’s security sector.
The Union MoS for Social Justice and Empowerment Pratima Bhoumik had inaugurated the conclave here at Agartala Rabindra Bhawan in presence of the Chairman of CAPSI Kunwar Vikram Singh and others.
Addressing the gathering, the Union MoS Pratima Bhoumik had praised the CAPSI for organising a brainstorming conclave and hoped that the projects of the CAPSI would generate more employment opportunities for the youths of the state of Tripura in near future.
“There was a mind-set of running after government jobs among the youths of Tripura during the past 35 years, but due to the visionary leadership of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi the youths of the state along with the rest of the nation are encouraged towards availing the opportunity of jobs as per their skill and capability and lead the nation,” she said.
Bhoumik urged upon the authority of the CAPSI to open a security training school or centres here in Tripura, so that the youths of the state and other parts are trained for employment in the security sector.
The conclave mainly focused on key topics such as establishing state-of-art training institutes, promoting security courses of international standards, generating employment and women empowerment, contributing to growth and prosperity of the entire North East region
On the other hand, the chairman of the CAPSI Kunwar Vikram Singh said, “We are focused on the youths of the North-East to bring them in the security sector of the country.”
“We are going to start a pilot project with an idea of generating maximum employment opportunities in the security sector for the youths of the North East,” he told reporters on Monday.
