Agartala July 22: Students of CBSE-affiliated schools in Agartala scripted commendable performance in the CBSE conducted AISSCE (Class XII) and AISSCE (class X) examinations this year.
All the 76 students of the Science stream in the Ramkrishna Mission Vidyalaya of Viveknagar in Agartala passed the AISSE (XII) with first division marks and out of 19 candidates in the Humanities stream, 18 students passed with First Division.
The highest mark - 487 out of 500 (97.4%) in the school was obtained by Debamallya Ghosh. Arkyajit Bhattacharjee and Mainak Pal jointly bagged the second highest mark in the school - 483 out of 500 (96.6%) whereas the third position was secured in the school by Meetil Roy - 477 out of 500 (95.4%).
Overall the average of the school in the Science stream is 87.4% and in Humanities 82.3% in the AISSCE (XII).
In the AISSCE (Class X), students of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Viveknagar also scripted success as out of 69 candidates 66 students passed with First Division and three students passed with second division.
Pratik Deb Roy and Hrituraj Bhowmik jointly bagged the highest marks in the School – 489 (97.8%). Debapriya Dey obtained the Second highest marks - 484 out of 500 (96.8%) and Ayushkar Nadi scored the third highest marks - 483 out of 500 (96.6%)
The overall success average of the School is 85.61%.
Swami Shubhakarananda, Secretary-cum-Principal, and Swami Buddhirupananda, Vice-Principal, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Viveknagar, have congratulated the students, the teachers, and all other members of Vidyalaya for the commendable performance of the School.
All the AISSCE (XII) students of the Hindi Higher Secondary of all the streams passed the examination. In Science, Tanisha Roy scored 96.8% marks which is the highest in the school. In Arts, Kushi Sharma (97.4%) and in Commerce, Pratik Pal (96.8%) topped the school.
The school authority congratulated the students.
Students of Tripureswari Vidyamandir of Gandhighat also cleared the AISSCE (XII) and AISSCE (X) successfully. A total of 66 students – 46 in Science and 20 in Arts – appeared in the exams and among them, three students scored above 90 per cent marks. In AISSCE (X) also all 34 students passed the exams. One of them scored above 90 per cent.
