Celebrations break out in Kalyanpur as BJP trends ahead in West Bengal elections trends

As early trends in the West Bengal Assembly elections began showing a clear advantage for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the party’s Kalyanpur Mandal office erupted in spontaneous celebration.

The premises turned festive as workers and supporters gathered with jhal muri, sweets and slogans, convinced that years of political effort and grassroots campaigning were finally bearing fruit.

The atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm, especially given the active role of Kalyanpur MLA Pinaki Das Choudhury, who campaigned extensively in West Bengal in support of BJP candidates. His presence at the Mandal office drew special excitement, with Mandal president Nitai Bal, General Secretary Asim Debroy, senior leader Purnendu Bhattacharjee, and scores of workers joining in the celebrations.

Addressing the gathering, Pinaki Das Choudhury said the people of West Bengal had delivered a “significant message through their verdict.” He alleged that under the leadership of Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee, certain administrative decisions had posed risks to national security. He added that the electorate had responded decisively under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, signaling a shift in the political landscape.

The MLA further noted that BJP’s growing success across states reflects a new direction of development.
