CM Manik Saha chairs key BJP strategy meet ahead of ADC elections

With the upcoming Autonomous District Council (ADC) elections drawing near, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts to ensure the BJP’s success in forming the council government.

On Saturday, a crucial meeting was held at the state BJP headquarters in Agartala, attended by the Chief Minister along with State BJP president Rajib Bhattacharjee, Janajati Morcha president Parimal Debbarma, Tribal Welfare Minister Bikash Debbarma, and State General Secretary Bipin Debbarma, among others.

Speaking about the meeting, Dr. Saha said, “This discussion was organized with the leadership of the Janajati Morcha and party legislators to plan how the party will work in the upcoming ADC elections. Our focus is on strengthening grassroots outreach and ensuring that the government’s development agenda reaches every tribal household.”

Party leaders noted that BJP has already intensified campaigning in the ADC areas, with daily programs and outreach activities aimed at consolidating support. The meeting was seen as a strategic step to align organizational leadership with the party’s election roadmap.

Observers believe the BJP is aiming to expand its influence in the tribal council by highlighting welfare schemes and development initiatives, while the leadership has urged workers to remain united and proactive in the run-up to the polls.
