CM Manik Saha lauds tireless efforts of Nurses in everyday healthcare

On the occasion of International Nurses Day, Tripura chief minister Dr. Manik Saha praised the unwavering dedication of nurses who serve as the backbone of everyday healthcare. 

Speaking at a voluntary blood donation camp organized by the state health department, Dr. Saha highlighted the compassion and commitment nurses bring to patient care, often working selflessly to ensure the well-being of society.

The Chief Minister expressed his delight at the large number of donors who came forward, calling their participation a noble act that reflects the values nurses embody daily — service, responsibility, and humanity. “Their tireless efforts in healthcare inspire us all, and today’s initiative is a shining example of how compassion can strengthen our community,” he said.

Dr. Saha extended heartfelt gratitude to the blood donors, healthcare workers, and organizers, noting that the camp not only honored nurses but also reinforced the collective spirit of service in Tripura. 

The event served as both a tribute to nursing professionals and a reminder of the vital role they play in safeguarding public health.
