
On the occasion of International Nurses Day, Tripura chief minister Dr. Manik Saha praised the unwavering dedication of nurses who serve as the backbone of everyday healthcare.Â

Speaking at a voluntary blood donation camp organized by the state health department, Dr. Saha highlighted the compassion and commitment nurses bring to patient care, often working selflessly to ensure the well-being of society.

The Chief Minister expressed his delight at the large number of donors who came forward, calling their participation a noble act that reflects the values nurses embody daily — service, responsibility, and humanity. “Their tireless efforts in healthcare inspire us all, and today’s initiative is a shining example of how compassion can strengthen our community,” he said.
