Content Creators represent Tripura at Rising Northeast Investors Summit
Anirban Bhowmik and Dr. Teesta Saha, digital content creators from Tripura, represented the Northeast at the Rising Northeast Investor Summit 2025 recently held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
The event was organised by the Ministry for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) to highlight investment opportunities and growth potential across the eight northeastern states.
Both the content creators were invited to the summit, which saw participation from national leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, DoNER Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, along with business leaders such as Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani.
The presence of the state’s content creators at the summit was a nod to the growing role of digital creators in shaping perceptions and promoting regional identity.
Anirban, known for his content showcasing cultural and social stories from the Northeast, and having over 400,000 followers across YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram, has consistently used his platform to bring regional narratives to a wider audience.
During the event, both Anirban Bhowmik and Dr. Teesta Saha were greeted by DoNER Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, who acknowledged the duo’s contributions in promoting the Northeast’s culture through digital media.
Anirban was the first YouTuber from Tripura to receive the Silver Play Button for crossing 100,000 subscribers. He has also collaborated with platforms like Zee Music and SVF on music and storytelling projects.
Speaking about the summit, Anirban said, “It was an honour to be part of such a significant national platform. I’m thankful for the opportunity to represent Tripura and the Northeast.”
Dr Teesta Saha is one of the popular influencers from Tripura having around 153K followers in her By_bornbhukkad page.
She extended sincere thanks to the organizers for inviting her to the summit.
“To me this event was like the best opportunity to attend and hear to the leaders who want to develop our North East, invest here in growth,” she said in a quick chat.
She is keen to highlight the event to her followers on social media in Tripura and also across globe, inviting the investors to explore the investment opportunities in Tripura.
The summit concluded with a focus on boosting private investment and awareness about the region, with voices like Anirban and Dr. Teesta, playing a key role in amplifying the Northeast’s presence on the national stage.
