Agartala Nov 23: The 10th All India Students' Conference of the All India Democratic Students' Organisation (AIDSO) is set to take place at Talkatora Indoor Stadium in New Delhi from November 27-29. This significant event will bring together students from across the country to discuss and deliberate on various issues concerning education and student welfare.
In anticipation of the conference, a delegation of 25 participants from Tripura Unit of AIDSO departed from Agartala Railway Station on Saturday.
Talking to the reporters, AIDSO State secretary said, “The conference is expected to be a vibrant platform for exchanging ideas, fostering solidarity among students, and advocating for their rights”.
“It is not just a gathering, but a movement to save the education system of our country which is in acute threat under the present BJP-led government. From this platform we will resist the anti-student policies of the BJP government including NEP-2020, privatization of the education sector among others”, he said.
The delegation from Tripura is keen to bring back valuable insights and strategies to further their efforts in promoting student welfare in the state.
