Demanding TET exams students places deputation to the Edu Director

Agartala Oct 18: The B.Ed qualified students placed deputation to the Director of Education at the Sikhsha Bhavan, Agartala demanding to conduct TET exam for the current year.
According to the rules, the TET exam has to be taken once a year. The qualified students alleged that the TRBT authority has not issued any notification for taking the TET –I and TET-II examination this year.
The students who have passed B.Ed and D.L.Ed demanded immediate conduct of TET examination for the year 2022.
The students further alleged, “We have met the TRBT authorities several time, but got no response yet”.
They added, “With much difficulties and financial crisis, we have completed B.Ed and D.L.Ed courses. Besides, many of us will become overage if the examinations are not taken immediately”.
Students who have passed B.Ed and D.L.Ed said that currently around 15,000 to 20,000 students have passed B.Ed., D.L.Ed but the TRBT is not taking any initiative to conduct the TET examination.
