
The administration launched the distribution of digital ration cards in Kalyanpur on Tuesday, marking a significant step toward transparent governance.Â

The event was inaugurated at the Kalyanpur-2 ration shop premises by MLA Pinaki Das Choudhury, who was joined by Teliamura Deputy Collector Anjan Das and food inspectors Tanushree Nandi and Ripon Debbarma.

Around 293 digital ration cards were handed out to eligible beneficiaries on the first day. Deputy Collector Das confirmed the figures, emphasizing the smooth execution of the initiative.

MLA Choudhury expressed gratitude to all public representatives and officials, noting the celebratory atmosphere of the event.Â

He praised the Prime Minister’s push for clean administration and remarked that, unlike the corruption-ridden ration shops of previous regimes, the digital system now ensures equal rights for all.
