DYFI,TYF take out massive rally in Agartala against BJP Govt

Agartala Nov 16: The activists of the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) and Tribal Youth Federation (TYF) on Wednesday took out a massive rally in Agartala demanding creation of jobs and “restoration of democracy” in Tripura.
The youth wing of CPI-M took to the streets pressing on 4-point demands.
The agitators demanded the Police administration under ruling BJP government to stop atrocities on unemployed youths for holding protests, demanding jobs.
They further demanded, immediate fulling up of vacant posts under education, health and other government departments, publication of JRBT Group-C Group-D results and permanent recruitment in all government departments.
Addressing the reporters, Palash Bhowmik state DYFI president said, “At various instances we have noticed police brutality on agitating youths while they were staging protests in demand of jobs. This won’t be tolerated and must be stopped immediately”.
“BJP cannot stop youths from protesting for their democratic rights by using police machinery”, he added.
The DYFI leaders further said, “Democracy is under threat in BJP’s rule in State”.
The Left is very much here and will continue to fight for the rights of the youths and common people of the state, added the leaders.
