Edu Minister Ratan Lal Nath takes part in I-Day celebrations

Agartala Aug 13: Along with various departments the Education Department also organized various programs to celebrate Har-Ghar-Tiranga program as a part of Azadi-Ka-Amrit-Mahotsav.
Saturday, at seven different places in the Agartala city, a cluster basis Har-Ghar-Tiranga program was organized with students of different schools.
Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath took part in the “Tiranga Rally” organized under the initiative of Acharya Prafulla Chandra Smriti Vidya Mandir in collaboration with three other schools namely, Henry Derozio School, Sri Krishna Mission School and Abhoynagar Smriti Vidyalaya HS School.
Addressing the students, Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath explained the motive behind the “Har Ghar Tiranga” program adding that it is the time to remember the great freedom fighters and revolutionaries who sacrificed their lives for India’s freedom.
A grand colourful rally comprising students and teachers from four different schools traversed various routes in the capital city marking the celebrations of 75 years of India’s independence.
Minister Ratan Lal Nath said Sunday another mass program will be celebrated at Umakanta Academy premises where students from eight schools will take part.
Director of Education Chandni Chandran also remained present at the day’s program.
