Agartala, Dec 05: Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has approved the proposal for setting up new 100-bedded Hospital at Shyamlibazar in Agartala. 

The 100 bedded ESIC Hospital in Agartala will cater to the medical needs of around 60,000 beneficiaries. 

The approval was given at the 189th Meeting of Employees’ State Insurance Corporation which was chaired by Union Minister of Labour and Employment  Bhupender Yadav in New Delhi on Sunday.

Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha shared the update on social media and extended his gratitude to the central government and ESIC for approving the proposal.

According to News on AIR, during the meeting, Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Rameswar Teli informed that the latest technologies are proposed to be adopted by ESIC for construction and monitoring of new projects using drones and online real time dashboard.
