Hat-trick victory for Kusharghat CC

Kusharghat Cricket Coaching Centre registered their third consecutive win, defeating GSS Cricket Coaching Centre by a massive margin of 286 runs in the U-13 cricket tournament organized by the Sub-Divisional Cricket Association.

Batting first after winning the toss, Kusharghat CCC posted a huge total of 330 runs for 4 wickets in the allotted 40 overs at Uchhaibari School Ground. Captain Arnab Sarkar scored a century — 105 runs off 97 balls, hitting 12 boundaries and 6 sixes. Sandeep Patari scored 88 off 74 balls with 14 boundaries and 4 sixes, Ayan Sutradhar made 53 off 27 balls with 6 boundaries and 3 sixes, while Tirthankar Debnath scored 46 off 29 balls with 6 boundaries and 2 sixes. The team also benefited from 33 extras.

Chasing the massive target, GSS CCC crumbled under pressure and were bowled out for just 44 runs. Ayush Kuri scored 12 runs and Deepjoy Laskar scored 11 – both scoring with one boundary and one six each. No other batter reached double digits. Extras top-scored for the team with 15 runs. For Kusharghat CCC, Sandeep Patari and Ayush Dutta picked three wickets each without conceding a run.
