Healthcare at the doorstep: Ayushman Camp benefits 54 residents in Kalyanpur

An Ayushman Arogya Camp was successfully organized at the Satyaguru Para Anganwadi Centre under Ghilatli Ayushman Arogya Mandir, part of the Kalyanpur Social Health Centre. 

The initiative aimed to bring healthcare directly to local residents, raise awareness about preventive health, and conduct screenings for various diseases.

Medical professionals and health workers present included Dr Priyanka Das, Lab Technician Ashree Debbarma, Pharmacist Samir Ghosh, Multipurpose Supervisor Bipul Debbarma, Community Health Officer Pooja Das, Multipurpose Worker Prasenjit Sutradhar, Ayushman Mitra Asit Sarkar, another Ayushman Mitra, and ASHA worker Kamala Das.

During the camp, residents received free health services such as: Screening for non-communicable diseases (NCDs), Malaria RDT tests, Tuberculosis (TB) screening and awareness measures for TB prevention, Blood pressure checks, Hemoglobin level measurement,etc.

Apart from these discussions were held on the ongoing 100-day cervical cancer screening.

A total of 54 participants availed free services at the camp. Additionally, 10 new Ayushman cards were issued, enabling beneficiaries to access free healthcare under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.

The day's camp marked a significant step in extending healthcare to the grassroots, ensuring that essential services and awareness reach communities at their doorstep.
