High-level BJP meeting in Tripura: CM, Ex-CM & national leaders chart organizational roadmap

The Pradesh BJP headquarters witnessed a high‑level organisational meeting on Wednesday, bringing together the party’s top leadership including Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha, former Chief Minister and National General Secretary Biplab Kumar Deb, and several national and regional leaders.

The meeting, convened ahead of upcoming political and organisational programmes, was attended by B.L. Santosh, BJP’s National General Secretary (Organisation); Dr. Sambit Patra, North‑East Coordinator and MP; Rajiv Babbar, North‑East Co‑Coordinator; Rajdeep Roy, State In‑Charge; Ravindra Raju, Organisation Minister for Tripura and Assam; and Rajib Bhattacharjee, Rajya Sabha MP. 

Alongside them were state ministers, MLAs, office bearers of the Pradesh Committee, presidents of various party wings, district leaders, and mandal presidents.

Discussions focused on strengthening the party’s organisational base, expanding grassroots outreach, and ensuring effective implementation of upcoming programmes. 

Leaders reviewed the progress of BJP’s activities across different organisational levels and stressed the importance of connecting more closely with the people to highlight government initiatives and development projects.

Pradesh BJP president Abhishek Debroy while speaking to the reporters  underscored the need to consolidate unity among leaders and workers, while also ensuring that the party’s message of development and governance reaches every household. 

The presence of both national and state leaders was seen as a significant boost to the organisational momentum in Tripura.

Party insiders described the meeting as highly important, noting that the decisions taken will play a crucial role in shaping the BJP’s future programmes and political strategies in the state especially ahead of the crucial Village Committee elections.
