Jana Viswas Yatra: Himanta all praise for Tripura govt

Agartala, Jan 09: Assam Chief Minister Hemanta Biswa Sharma was all praise for Tripura Government as it hiked Social allowances to Rs 2000 and announced a 12 per cent DA for the employees.
“Prior to the 2018 Assembly, I, on behalf of the State BJP announced that social allowance would be hiked to Rs 2000 if BJP was voted to power. I am happy that the State government fulfilled the promise”, Biswa Sharma said while addressing Jana Viswas Yatra at Killa on Monday.
Biswa Sharma was accompanied by Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, State BJP president Rajib Bhattacharjee and others.
Hailing the achievements of the BJP-led government, the Assam Chief Minister said providing 12 per cent DA to the State government was a phenomenal announcement – even Assam Government could not do this.
Meanwhile, the Jana Vishwas Rath Yatra traversed several constituencies in Gomati District including Killa on Monday. Later, in the evening the Vijay Rath accompanied by a large number of bikes and vehicles reached 31 Radhakishorepur Assembly Constituency.
Chief Minister of Assam Hemanta Biswa Sharma, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, Transport minister Pranajit Singha Roy, Industries and Commerce minister Rampada Jamatia, BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee were present on the Chariot.
On this day the Rath Yatra of BJP roamed around Udaipur town. As the Rath roamed around the Udaipur town, curious people assembled on both sides of the road. There was tight security of police to control the gathering of people during Rath Yatra.
