Kalyanpur's long-awaited roadwork signals new era of growth

The Kalyanpur constituency is witnessing a major leap forward in infrastructure as construction of the long-anticipated road from North Kamalnagar to the Maizbhandar SPO camp gathers pace. The project, which residents had awaited for years, is now progressing rapidly and has sparked widespread optimism across the community.

For decades, locals struggled with muddy, broken roads during the monsoon season, facing daily hardships in commuting. Students, patients, traders, and ordinary citizens endured severe inconvenience. The new paved road promises to end this ordeal, offering smoother travel and improved connectivity.

Residents believe the project will not only ease transportation but also unlock fresh opportunities for socio-economic development. Enhanced road infrastructure is expected to boost trade, education, healthcare, and administrative efficiency, creating a more dynamic environment for growth.

MLA Pinaki Das Choudhury personally inspected the construction site on Tuesday, accompanied by departmental officials. He reviewed the quality of work and directed teams to ensure timely completion while maintaining high standards. His proactive approach has drawn praise from locals, who see his leadership as pivotal in driving Kalyanpur’s development agenda.

Grateful citizens have expressed heartfelt thanks to both the MLA and the state government, noting that successive projects are transforming the constituency.
