Agartala Nov 24: Former Tripura Chief Minister and present Rajya Sabha MP Biplab Kumar Deb on Thursday warned those involved in Khowai’s violence. At the same time, Deb visited GB hospital Agartala to take a note of the present health condition of injured party workers.
He also met the fire fighters who were injured on-duty in Sabroom, South Tripura District.
Taking a dig over the opposition CPI-M Deb said, “Terrorism and violence have no place in the holy land of Tripura. Opposition forces are creating such violence to tarnish the development and dignity of Khowai city as well as the entire state”.
A number of BJP workers were seriously injured in a pre-planned surprise fatal attack by miscreants owing allegiance to the opposition, he added.
MP Biplab Kumar Deb met injured BJP worker Santosh Das, who is undergoing treatment at GB Hospital and assured him of all sorts of assistance.
“The well-informed citizens of the state will give a befitting reply to this despicable conspiracy organized in the state to achieve political interests in an undemocratic manner”, said Deb.
He further added, “While controlling a fire incident at Sabroom in South Tripura district, four personnel of the fire department on- duty were injured. This is highly commendable and applaudable”.
Meeting the injured, Deb praised them for their bravery and also assured all necessary assistance.
