Lal Singh Arya visits B R Ambedkar Smriti Chatri Nivas

Agartala Nov 05: As a part of BJP’s “Basti Sampark Abhiyan”, Bharatiya Janata Party’s S C Morcha National President Lal Singh Arya on Saturday visited Dr BR Ambedkar Smriti Chatri Nivas in the capital city.
Lal Singh Arya accompanied with state representatives of the party’s SC Morcha held talks with the students residing in the hostel, briefed them about the rights of SC community and other backward castes and the schemes launched by the government for their welfare and also tried to find out if they are reeling with any kind of difficulties.
Talking to the reporters about his visit, the All India President of BJP SC Morcha Lal Singh Arya said, “The visit is a part of Basti Sampark Abhiyan launched by BJP National President J P Nadda aiming to develop a greater connection with the people of Scheduled Castes and backward communities”.
“Me and my team have taken a target to connect with 75,000 slums and 7500 hostels”, he added.
Arya further said two Karyakartas will be appointed at the hostel to look after the facilities of the children residing at the hostel.
Notably, the “Basti Sampark Abhiyan “ is a part of a meticulously chalked-out electoral strategy of the BJP with an eye on the 2023 assembly election in Tripura and 2024 Lok Sabha election, for making an inroad into the SC vote bank.
The outreach is aimed at educating the SC voters about the Modi government’s schemes, which have been launched so far for welfare of SC community and other backward castes.
