Maan Ki Baat: Tripura CM listens to PM Modi’s speech

Agartala Sept 25: Along with Kishore Barman and other party karyakartas, Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha listened to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Maan Ki Baat” program on Sunday at his own constituency, Bordowalli.
Talking to the reporters, Chief Minister Dr Saha said, “It is a great feeling to gather together and listen to the speech of Prime Minister Narendra Modi who always thinks of development of the country and the people and comes up with new ideas for betterment of the society”.
On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on his monthly radio programme Mann Ki Baat. This was the 93rd episode of the show, the first edition of which was broadcast on October 3, 2014.
In recent years, the programme has been broadcast on the last Sunday of each month. Therefore, the final three episodes of the year will air on 30 October, 27 November and 25 December.
In his speech PM Narendra Modi urged people to use only locally made non-plastic bags in this festive season.
He also announced that the Chandigarh airport will be named after Shaheed Bhagat Singh to pay tribute to the freedom fighter.
On 8 cheetahs brought to India from Namibia, PM Modi said all 130 crore Indians are delighted that the wild cats are back in India after more than 70 years. He added that a task force will be set up for monitoring the cheetahs.
