Major admin rejig, 59 TCS officers shifted in Tripura

Agartala, Oct 31: In a major administrative reshuffle, Tripura government on Monday transferred 59 TCS officers and allocated additional charge of ADM to an IAS officer.
As per a government notification, 13 senior SSG Grade TCS officers were transferred and given new charges. Besides one IAS officer T.K. Chakma, incumbent Director of Tourism, was given the additional charge of Additional District Magistrate of West District
Along with them, total 45 TCS Grade-I and Grade-II officers were transferred and given new posts.
The transfer order included, Directors several departments, joint director of Tribal Welfare Department, 14 BDOs, 18 Deputy Collectors and other officers.
Asim Saha, ADM and Collector of West district has now been made ADM and Collector and PD DRDA of South district. Similarly, other TCS officers have been transferred and posted for the interest of public service, the notification reads.
Apart from the TCS officers there were also transfers in the police department with about 30 officers at Police station level were shifted to various places. Only on Sunday the state government had transferred 167 Sub-Inspectors and Additional Sub-Inspectors across the state.
