Manipur unrest: Tripura CM inquires about state’s students

Agartala, May 04: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha in a social media post mentioned that the state government was in constant touch with the Government of Manipur to ensure the well-being of state's students.
Another update from the Chief Minister said, the Government of Tripura opened helpline numbers for providing support on 24x7 basis to the residents of Tripura with respect to disturbance in Manipur.
The helplines are- ERSS 112, State Emergency Operation Centre: 1070/ 0381-2416045/ 2416241 and Whatsapp number: 8787676210.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister based on media reports on the emerging situation in Manipur inquired about the state’s students. As per the instruction of the Chief Minister, the state administration contacted the Manipur administration regarding safety of the state’s students.
Besides, Medical Education director Dr. HP Sharma had a telephonic discussion with the Principal of RIMS, Manipur. He was informed that the students of Tripura were safe.
