Mayor inspects drainage condition in AMC ward, orders urgent renovation

Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder on Saturday carried out a special inspection of civic amenities and infrastructure in Ward No. 23.

During the visit, the Mayor reviewed the condition of drains and other civic facilities in the locality and passed instructions to concerned officers and engineers to renovate the old and dilapidated drainage system in the area.

The Mayor said that the primary goal of the Agartala Municipal Corporation is to modernize the drainage network ahead of the monsoon and ensure a permanent solution to water-logging and related civic issues.

The inspection was attended by Corporator Manimukta Bhattacharjee, Chairman of AMC East Zone Sukhamay Saha, along with senior officers and engineers of the Municipal Corporation.

The Mayor emphasized that AMC remains committed to improving urban infrastructure and ensuring better civic services for residents.
