Minister Bikash Debbarma calls for Swadeshi Spirit to build self-reliant Tripura

With great patriotic enthusiasm and fervour, 'Pandit Denndayal Jayanti' and 'Atmanirbhar Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan' was celebrated on Wednesday at the Chakmaghat Community Hall.

Minister for Tribal Welfare Department Bikash Debbarma graced the occasion as the chief guest. In his address, Minister Debbarma paid tribute to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s philosophy of integral humanism, emphasizing its relevance in today’s India.

In his address, the Minister said, “Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s vision reminds us that self-reliance is rooted in self-confidence, and self-confidence is the foundation of national unity. Through the spirit of swadeshi and the growth of local initiatives, we are all committed to realizing the dream of a truly self-reliant India.”

The event brought together community members, local leaders, and officials in a shared pledge to uphold the values of self-sufficiency, unity, and indigenous development.
