Agartala, May 28: The ruling BJP MLA Ratan Chakraborty on Sunday inaugurated a cultural training centre at Senpara Anganwadi Centre of Debram Gram Panchayat as part of ‘Sanskriti Gram’ of ‘Sanskriti Sangsad’.

Addressing the function, the MLA pitched for building a drug-free society and said that more efforts need to be put to rescue the youths and families from drug addiction, which perhaps is going rampant across the state.

“This cultural training centre will play a key role in eradicating drug menace in the area, as the training centre will organise melas and other related functions of different cultural activities most often. This will attract more people to join the cultural activities and functions to be held here,” he said.
