Jolaibari in South Tripura district is set to get a modern motor stand equipped with improved passenger amenities, marking a significant addition to the area’s transport infrastructure, Tripura Transport Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said on Saturday.

Chowdhury said, he inspected the progress of the project and reviewed the quality of construction in the presence of Jolaibari MLA Pramod Reang, senior officials of the Transport Department and local public representatives.

During the inspection, the Minister also discussed various issues affecting the progress of the project with the concerned officials and issued necessary directions to ensure that the work is completed within the stipulated timeframe.

He expressed hope that once completed, the modern motor stand is expected to provide improved facilities for passengers and create greater convenience for commuters and the general public in Jolaibari.
