Nadda announces Tripura Govt's new scheme 'Mukhyamantri Balika Samriddhi Yojana'

Agartala, Mar 09: Union Minister for Health and BJP National President J.P. Nadda on Sunday announced a new scheme of Tripura government during a public rally in Agartala.
Addressing the huge gathering at Swami Vivekananda Maidan to mark 2nd anniversary of BJP-led government 2.0 in Tripura, Nadda announced 'Mukhyamantri Balika Samriddhi Yojana'.
Under the scheme, the state government would deposit a bond of Rs. 50,000 for every girl child to be born in BPL families. He said, when the girl will turn 18, the bond will reach an amount of Rs. 8-10 lakh at the time of maturity.
The Union Minister while highlighting the present state government's key achievements also announced another scheme 'Mukhyamantri Kanya Atmanirbhar Yojana' for providing scooty to college going girl students.
Under this scheme, along with the girl students of TBSE, the High Secondary passed meritorious students of other boards- CBSE and ICSE (total 140 students) will also get scooty.
He thanked Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha and his government for introducing the schemes empowering the daughters.
Nadda also spoke about how Prime Minister Narendra Modi has changed the culture of politics. He said, the people now talk about pro incumbency instead of anti incumbency.
The Chief Minister, MP Rajib Bhattacharjee, MP Biplab Kumar Deb, MP Kriti Singh and other senior leaders of BJP were present in the event.
