Nationwide prayers mark PM Modi's historic milestone; Leaders hail his tenure

Across India, BJP leaders and supporters observed special prayers and rituals on Wednesday to celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s landmark tenure in office, which has set a historic record in Indian politics.

At the Lakshminarayan (Birla) Temple in New Delhi, Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharjee joined Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda in offering prayers to mark the completion of 12 years of Modi’s government.

Bhattacharjee described the day as a defining moment not only for the BJP but for the entire nation, noting that Modi has become one of the longest-serving leaders in independent India.

“Under his visionary leadership, India is moving forward with the resolve of building a Viksit Bharat. His government has worked tirelessly for the poor, workers, farmers, youth, and women,” Bhattacharjee said, adding that citizens are witnessing transformative changes in infrastructure, welfare schemes, and economic growth.

In Tripura, the celebrations were equally fervent. Pradesh BJP president and MLA Abhishek Debroy participated in rituals at the Mata Tripura Sundari Temple in Udaipur, while Social Welfare and Social Education Minister Tinku Roy joined prayers at the Indranagar Kalibari Temple. Both leaders sought blessings for the Prime Minister’s good health, long life, and continued strength to serve the nation.

Roy emphasized the vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas”, expressing hope that India would continue to achieve greater heights in unity, prosperity, and peace under Modi’s leadership.

At the Raksha Kali Temple near Tripura University, the Suryamaninagar Mandal hosted a prayer gathering attended by local leaders, including Deputy Speaker and MLA Ram Prasad Pal, Dukli Block Chairman Bhulan Saha, along with other party functionaries.

Dy Speaker and Suryamaninagar MLA Ram Prasad Paul highlighted the Prime Minister’s role in advancing national development, welfare schemes, and progress across multiple sectors, while offering prayers for his continued leadership.

Meanwhile, in Bishalgarh, the BJP Mandal organized rituals at the Jagannath Jiu Temple, where MLA Sushanta Deb joined devotees in chanting Vedic hymns. The prayers focused on Modi’s good health, long life, and his ongoing guidance in driving India’s growth. Deb remarked that under Modi’s leadership, the nation is moving rapidly toward development and self-reliance.

The nationwide observances underscored the Prime Minister’s stature as a global leader, with BJP leaders highlighting how his tenure has enhanced India’s position on the international stage.
