Agartala, Jan 21: Pradyot Kishore Debbarma on Saturday evening said his party- Tipra Motha didn’t forge poll alliance with any party so far but soon there would be good news regarding ‘Thansa’ between Tipra Motha and IPFT.

The Tipra Motha supremo, who is reportedly now in Delhi and heading talks with BJP central leaders, spoke in a Facebook live to clear the confusion created by his post ‘Thansa will happen!’ on social media earlier on the day.

As soon as he shared the update, it immediately caught public attention while some media reports started claiming that his deal with BJP was final. There were widespread speculations. But, he later sought to clear the confusion saying that ‘no alliance had been formed with any party so far’.

He reiterated that there would be no alliance with any party without written assurance on Greater Tipraland.

He also expressed hope that BJP’s ally ITFT would join Thansa (unity) and come in one platform with Tipra Motha soon.

Meanwhile, an IPFT delegation reportedly held a meeting with NEDA convenor and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in Guwahati.
