Now, tourists can enjoy Paragliding in Jampui Hills

Agartala, Sept 29: Now, the adventure lovers who are planning to visit Jampui Hills, one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Tripura, can enjoy Paragliding.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha in presence of other dignitaries launched the new tourist facility—Paragliding take-off and landing points on Thursday giving a boost to the adventure tourism of the state.

According to Dr. Saha, who visited the Jampui Hills for the first time, the new facility would make the tourist spot more attractive to the tourists as well as benefit the local people.

Meanwhile, the Tourism department has taken several new initiatives over the past four years to develop the tourist spots of the state. According to official sources, the House Boat facility would soon be a new attraction for the visitors at Dumboor Lake.

Besides, several new Log Huts are set to come up at various tourist destinations while some other facilities for the adventure lovers are also on the card. Earlier, the Tourism department introduced water scooter ride (Jet Ski) at Narkelkunja.
