
The Patient Welfare Committee of GB Hospital convened on Wednesday, with the Committee Chairman MLA Mina Rani Sarkar placing highest priority on improving patient services and issuing clear directives to strengthen healthcare delivery.

The meeting was attended by the Health Secretary along with doctors and nurses of GB Hospital. During the session, officials reviewed the functioning of medical services, emergency care, medicine supply, cleanliness, and infrastructure management.

Emphasis was laid on ensuring patient-centric, transparent, and humane healthcare. The Chairman underscored the need for stronger coordination between hospital administration and health workers to achieve these goals.

Reaffirming commitment to the state’s health policy, the committee resolved to make GB Hospital’s services more efficient, accessible, and people-oriented. Authorities stressed that continuous monitoring and collective effort will be key to raising the standard of care for patients.
