Agartala Nov 30: In a pitched battle between the ruling BJP and prime opposition CPI-M in Charilam several workers of both sides were left injured.

The incident took place on Wednesday afternoon at Charilam Bazar area where the opposition CPI-M was holding a political program.

The video footage from the spot shows massive stone pelting, brick batting and bomb blasts.

Injured workers were rushed to the local hospital while hige number of security personnel have been deployed in the area to tackle the situation.
