Agartala, May 10: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Wednesday said that politics should not be the medium of earning money. He said, the politics of Bharatiya Janata Party means working for the people with the mantra of 'Seva'.

Addressing an organizational meeting of the Gomati district unit of the party at Rajarshi hall in Udaipur, Dr. Saha also lashed out at CPM and Congress for syndicate culture.

He said, BJP doesn’t believe in syndicate culture; it is the style of communists. The people who are indulging in such activity should come out of it.

Addressing the karyakartas, he said, all the party workers should work together with full devotion for transforming Tripura into a model. He also lauded the role of the Karyakartas for their tireless work behind the BJP’s victory in the last assembly polls.

The Chief Minister also spoke on the development plans for the Gomati district. Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, MLA Rampada Jamatia and MLA Abhishek Debroy among other leaders were present in the organizational programme.
