A new initiative to foster scientific curiosity among students took shape on Tuesday as Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharjee inaugurated the DNA Club at College Tilla under the Banamalipur Assembly constituency.
Placing the emphasis on the importance of science education, Bhattacharjee said the club would serve as a catalyst for research and innovation, inspiring young minds to explore beyond textbooks. He described the programme as a disciplined and well-organized event where distinguished guests shared valuable insights, leaving students motivated to pursue knowledge with renewed enthusiasm.
Congratulating the school authorities and organizing committee, Bhattacharjee hailed the effort as a guiding light for the new generation, adding that such initiatives show students the way forward in a rapidly changing world. He expressed hope that similar programmes would expand in the future, giving more students opportunities to engage in scientific exploration.
The inauguration of the DNA Club is being seen as a significant step in strengthening the culture of science education at the grassroots level, aligning with the broader vision of preparing students to meet the challenges of a knowledge-driven society.
