
A seven-day National Service Scheme (NSS) special camp was inaugurated at Khudiram Bose English Medium School, Jail Road, Agartala, on Thursday by Tripura BJP president and Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharjee.Â

The camp, organized by the school’s NSS Unit, is themed around “Youth for My Bharat & Youth for Digital Literacy”, reflecting a vision to empower students through social responsibility and digital awareness.

Speaking to reporters after the event, Bhattacharjee said the initiative would inspire students to contribute meaningfully to society while embracing the values of volunteerism and self-reliance. “This special effort will motivate young people to build a better and self-reliant India through social responsibility, voluntary service, and digital literacy,” he remarked. He extended congratulations to all student volunteers, praising their dedication, enthusiasm, and service-oriented mindset as vital to shaping tomorrow’s society.

The camp will include sessions on digital literacy, community service, health awareness, and environmental responsibility, offering students practical exposure to social engagement. Organizers noted that the programme is designed not only to strengthen civic values but also to prepare youth for the challenges of a rapidly digitizing world.
The NSS camp is expected to leave a lasting impact on participating students, equipping them with skills and values that extend beyond the classroom.
